FACILITIES The school is extremely well resourced in all areas of the curriculum. Technology All classrooms have access to a number of computers. In addition to the classroom computers, the school has a dedicated room where students are able to use the 28 laptops and learn specific computer skills. The school with the assistance of the P&C has recently purchased several Interactive Whiteboards that will be used by staff and students for all curriculum areas. Playground In school playground is very well maintained. The students have a lush, green oval to play sport on. The oval has soccer goals and netball rings, which the students use regularly. The school has two areas with fixed play equipment. One area called "The Kindergarten Sanctuary" is for the sole use of our Kindergarten students. The other outstanding fixed equipment area was installed using the funds from the Investing In Our Schools Project in 2006. The Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA) is equipped with basketball rings and is well utilised by the students and staff. All students sit in this area and eat their lunch before being allowed to play. Multi Purpose Area (MPA) The MPA has been transformed in recent years to an aesthetically pleasing, functional learning and performance area. The MPA is used for school assemblies, dance and drama lessons. Within the MPA the students access the canteen. |
