EXCURSIONS Students at Hanwood Public School participate in a number of excursions throughout the year. School excursions relate to units of work mainly in the areas of Human Society and Its Environment, Science and Technology, Creative and Practical Arts and Personal Development, Health and Physical Education.
Excursion for Infants students are usually related to our COGS units, and include excursions to places such as; · Pioneer Park · Local supermarkets · Police, Ambulance, Fire Station Community Workers Excursion · Griffith Town Library
Excursions catering for Primary students only and may involve overnight stays include; · Ballarat/Bendigo Gold Rush Excursion · Canberra
Combined Infants and Primary Excursions may include cultural performances at Griffith Regional Theatre. School captains and vice captains attend a Young Leaders Conference in Sydney during term 1 each year. |
